curley~Touching Hearts one at a time
Woody's previous owner said "I can't tell you how much it means to us to know that Woody is in the right place. It was very difficult for us to make the decision to find him a new home, but after meeting you and seeing the sanctuary, I know that we did the right thing. Sometimes the right decision is not the easy one, and that is definitely true here. We will miss him, but we take comfort knowing that Woody will be much happier at his new home. Thank you again for your kindness and compassion."
Clarice and Millie
Clarice and Millie were owner surrenders because they did not get along with the household cat. They get along with everyone here at Sunrise!
Lucky, Smiley, Precious, Poser, Bambi, and Barney
This group of older goats came to Sunrise via an elderly couple that had to move out of state for health reasons. They needed a place where their elderly goats could live out their lives, being cared for the way they took care of them. They arranged for their goats to come live at Sunrise. In exchange, the couple donated two buildings and they continue to donate monthly toward their care. Unfortunately, Poser, Barney and Precious have passed on, we miss them very much, but know they had a good life! Lucky, Smiley and Bambi are still enjoying their new friends at Sunrise!
