5:24am-Good morning animal lovers everywhere. It's going to get up to 32 deg today and that makes me happy. It also looks like though we may have some cold mornings the rest of the winter, but by the end of each day be over 32, which means the water situation will at least improve during the day. Yeah! The animals like the nicer weather too. Most of them have been hanging in the barns or close to them, now more of will go out to the pasture. Tomorrow it should be warm enough to try out some new toys we got for the pigs. Three of them are young, get bored and in trouble. So, we got them some toys. We're also going to try to get them horse treat balls to play with too. :) I promise there will be pictures and videos. Things went smoothly yesterday. Still had to do the waters alot, but at least not every hour. Today will begin the thaw, which means some cleanup, but I'm fine with that with warmer temps. The pic is of Little Miracle when she first arrived. She was pretty beat up from the fall/jump from the slaughter truck. We also have a new slide who of her life up under animals/pigs/Little Miracle here on the website, so you can see how she's come along since the she arrived.
