11:50am-Good Afternoon! Another beautiful day at Sunrise Sanctuary. The wind is blowing, but hopefully that will help the ground dry. It's muddy out here on the farm. I'm hoping even though they're calling for some rain that it doesn't rain much.
Willie asked me to share his pic and tell everyone he says "hi." He'd also like everyone to come out and visit this weekend for Open Barn Day. It's Saturday 3/12 from 12-3pm. For more info click here. We hope to see everyone here. It is muddy, so I advise you to bring an extra pair of shoes and a plastic bag to put your muddy ones in when you leave.
Make sure you check out our video page too. I just added one of the Minis today running. I was so happy to catch it yesterday. It's a big deal to me because Lakota, the lighter colored minis hasn't gone into a trot or run in a long time. She hurt herself and it's taken alot of time and advise from the vet, farrier and equine masseuse. It was so good to catch her running again. It's taken a long time but been well worth the time we put into her. We always love to see them pulll through any issues any of them may have.
