11:05am-It's been a tough week here at the farm. We've been with vets everyday, had the farrier and masseuse out. Had Strawberry one of the minis have a really hard time coming out of sedation and JJ one of the other minis got hurt horseplaying, so we have to work with him. It's the first time he's ever gotten hurt, plus he's young so like a little kid he's really having a hard time with it. The anti-inflammatory/pain meds the vet has him on should start really kicking in today. But, he still can't go out until next week. He's always so lively and wants to go, go, go. It's sad to see him with his head down and not even wanting to walk. He still wants us to stay with him and when we leave his stall he whinnies for us to come back. I just feel bad for the poor little guy. We also had to rescue two baby ducks that another duck was trying to drown and someone brought us a rescued baby goose with a broken leg. The goose goes to the vet today. I'm still waiting for my new camera in the mean time the slide show below is the life of Little Miracle. I love looking back at old pics.
Little Miracle's Life (Since She Arrived at Sunrise
She arrived tiny, skin scraped, bruises after either falling or jumping from a slaughter truck. Knowing her personality we believe she jumped. She recovered quickly thought and has become the loving yet indepent pig we all know and love!
