We cannot begin to tell you how expensive and exhausting caring for all the animals can be. We are not complaining at all, they are each precious to us. We really depend on your help, though.
The reality is that we have virtually no income, only expenses. So, every penny really counts to us and we can't thank you enough for supporting this great cause.
Our goal is to stay open and provide for everyone already here, and hopefully more down the road. Since we don't mail you constant requests for money, or call you at home, this is our place to ask for help. Running the sanctuary costs about $700.00 per month, not including emergency vet care.
There are several way you can help to support the great work at Sunrise Sanctuary. We are a non-profit registered animal welfare organization with IRS #20-65462. So, any monetary donations can be tax-deductible.
