About Sunrise Sanctuary

We are a volunteer-led organization and would not exist without the dedication of all of our volunteers, corporate friends, donors, and supporters.

What We Do

We are a non-profit organization that provides a loving and permanent shelter for over 170 formerly abused, neglected, disabled, or unwanted farm and companion animals. At Sunrise, our animals are our family and their needs come first.

We currently provide a loving home to a variety of special beings, including pocket pets, companion animals, farm animals, and birds and fowl. We invite you to get to know our family through our website and by attending events at the farm!

Treasurer (Board)

Sandy wears various hats, a so-called jack-of-all-trades and yet a master of so many. She acts as treasurer of the board, as well as our primary animal caregiver, daily operations manager, volunteer organizer and facilitator, legal expert, procurement manager, tour guide, and so much more. On top of her hours of daily farm work she also plans events, fundraises and works with sponsors and donors.
