Sunrise Volunteers
Volunteering at Sunrise Sanctuary is a rewarding experience. As a fully volunteer run sanctuary we rely on the help of our community with daily cleaning tasks, specialty projects, events, and making it possible to host Open Barn Days.
The work at the sanctuary is never ending, but the love of our residents and the coming together of our community makes every icy, humid, mud filled, and beautiful day working at the sanctuary worth it.
We have many opportunities throughout the year for volunteers, including daily farm cleaning, errands, working at events, fundraising, and special opportunities that arise throughout the year. We do require volunteers be 18 years of age or older unless accompanied by an adult or legal guardian. Use the button in the section above to start the process of becoming a Sunrise volunteer!
After your completed application is received, you will be contacted by email within a few days and will be able to sign up for an on-farm orientation where you can learn more about what we do on a daily basis to care for the many precious souls that call Sunrise home.
